OBIT KELLEY, BESSIE DEBUSK

KELLEY, Bessie DeBusk, 74, of Roanoke, passed away Monday, September 27, 1993, in a local hospital. She was a lifelong member of Belmont Christian Church and was retired from Sears with over twenty years of service. Surviving are her husband, Claude E. Kelley; two daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Richard Bartlett, Barbara and Robert Pence, all of Roanoke; two grandchildren, David Bartlett, Greenville, S.C., Jeffery Bartlett, Roanoke; a brother, David W. DeBusk Jr., Roanoke; two sisters, Helen M. Doran, Salem, Mary J. Helms, Roanoke. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Thursday from Oakey's North Chapel, with Rev. John E. Wallace and Rev. Branan G. Thompson Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Sherwood Burial Park. Friends may call at Oakey's North Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
