OBIT LANTZ, IRENE ELIZABETH
LANTZ, Irene Elizabeth, 98, of Churchland, died Wednesday, September 29,
1993, at Portsmouth Nursing Home. She was a former resident of Montvale and
was a seamstress for a local clothing manufacturer. She was predeceased by her
husband, Jessie James Lantz. She is survived by a son, Russell R. Jones,
Portsmouth; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services
will be held 11 a.m. Friday, October 1, 1993, Loving Funeral Home Chapel,
Churchland, with the Rev. Tom Potter officiating. Burial will follow in
Montvale Baptist Church Cemetery, Montvale, 1 p.m. Saturday. The family will
receive friends Thursday, 7 to 8 p.m. at Loving Funeral Home, Portsmouth. In
lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the
Arthritis Foundation or to the charity of your choice.
