The Showcase of Arts exhibit is being held at The Arts Palace at Old First, corner of North Jefferson Street and Gilmer Avenue. The show is free and open through Sunday. The hours are from noon until 4 p.m. on today, Friday and Saturday, and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.

The award winners were chosen from 127 works by jurors Larry Horowitz, an artist/teacher from Yorktown, N.Y., and Elizabeth K. Heil, an associate professor at Roanoke College.
