STATE HIGHWAY PROGRAM MARKS 5TH ANNIVERSARY

The Virginia Department of Transportation is celebrating its Adopt-a-Highway program's fifth anniversary on Oct. 16 with the annual Great State Trash-Off.

Any citizen or group can participate by cleaning up roads, parks, bike trails or waterways in their areas or their own yards.
