ROANOKE TOPS GUILFORD 5-1

In Greensboro, Jenn Roessler scored two goals and Roanoke went on to whip Guilford 5-1 in a Old Dominion Athletic Conference women's soccer game. The Maroons (3-4, 3-1) outshot Guilford (4-4, 2-3) 22-6.

In Fredericksburg, Mary Washington scored three second-half goals and blanked Washington and Lee 3-0 in a non-conference women's soccer match. Mary Washington outshot the Generals 21-5. Washington and Lee (5-2) had won four games in a row.
