AMMERMANN-CHU

Peggy Hui-O Chu and Peter Arthur Ammermann were united in marriage on July 17, 1993 in St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Rev. Dr. Robert T. Copenhaver was the officiating clergyman. Thereception was held at the St. Paul's Parish Hall.

Virginia Chin Wang was the maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Pamela Sue Ammermann, sister of the groom; Hui-Juan Chu, sister of the bride; and Julia Shuk Ying Kwok. Mark David Spangler served as best man. The ushers were Todd Gifford Ammermann, brother of the groom; Douglas Winchester Eckel and David Shin Cheng Wang. Hui-Mey Chu, sister of the bride, was the translator. Bible reader was Phillip StephenAmmermann. The organist as Mr.Richard C. Cornett, Jr. Heather Allegra Ammermann and Hui-Mey Chu were the guestbook attendants. The bride's gown was a Victor Costa/Vogue Bridal Original design and was made by Mrs. Eleanor Ammermann and Miss Judy Hickerson.

Peggy is the daughter of Mrs. Pi-Chin Tseng Chu of Chiayi, Taiwan, R.O.C. and the late Mr. Chi-Sheng Chu. She is agraduate of National Taiwan University and currently attends Virginia Tech, where she is pursuing a Master's degree in landscape architecture. Peter is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Ernest Gifford Ammermann of Roanoke. He is a graduate of Roanoke College and currently attends Virginia Tech, where he is pursuing a Ph.D. in Finance.

The newlyweds live in Blacksburg and are planning a reception in Taiwan next year.
