Bridesmaids were Jill HeaberlinHeterick, sister-in-law of the bride; Amy Walters Woods and Cara Fay Walters, sisters of the groom, all of Blacksburg; Mary Beth Ebert Francisco, Alisa Lynn Van Zant, and Pamela Kaur Sibia, all of Charlotte, N.C.; and Kari Ann Kasprak of Salisbury, Md.
Clifton William Walters served as his son's beat man. Groomsmen were Clifton William Walters, Jr., and Darrell Dean Walter, brothers of the groom; Robert Bruce Heterick, brother of the bride; James Matthew Craig, Eric ScottEpperly, Dale William Price, Richard Bradley Plaugher, all of Blacksburg;Stephen James Barranco of Richmond; and Joseph Henry Poll of Falls Church.
The bride's parents entertained with a reception at Custom Catering Centerfollowing the ceremony. The groom'sparents hosted a rehearsal dinner at their home on Friday, October 1, 1993, and both families hosted a "pig roast" Saturday night, October 2, 1993.
The bride is a graduate of Blacksburg High School and Virginia Tech. She is employed by Anderson & Associates, Inc. of Blacksburg. The groom is a graduate of Blacksburg High School and Virginia Tech. He is the owner of ValleyLandscaping in Blacksburg.
After a wedding trip to Key West, Florida, the couple will make their home in Blacksburg.
