OBIT MCREYNOLDS, HARRY DODGE

McREYNOLDS, Harry Dodge, 84, of Roanoke, died at the Lewis-Gale Hospital, Friday, October 1, 1993. He was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church and a member of the Sigma Nu Fraternity at George Washington University. He was the former owner and president of Johnson-McReynold's Chevrolet Corp. and established Toyota of Roanoke Valley. He was a former director of Mountain Trust Bank, a former member of the Roanoke Rotary Club, former president of Commonwealth Discount, and the former president of Valley Finance. He was head of the Industrial Campaign for Roanoke Memorial and Burrell Memorial Hospitals. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Hancock McReynolds, Roanoke; one niece, Molly McReynolds Rolandi, Potomac, Md. Funeral services will be conducted at the Crypt in Evergreen Burial Park, 11:30 a.m. Monday, with the Rev. Thomas P. O'Dell officiating. The family suggests memorials be made to St. John's Episcopal Church Memorial Fund or your favorite charity. Friends may call at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
