OBIT MITCHELL, ZINY JOHN
MITCHELL, Ziny John, 80, of Route 1, Huddleston, died Friday, October 1,
1993, in the Bedford County Memorial Hospital. He was born in Lowell, Mass.,
on June 6, 1913, a son of the late Wladyslau Mitchell and Viola Wachulanius
Mitchell. He was employed by Eastman Kodak Company for over 25 years and was a
communicant of Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife,
Irene Marlowe Mitchell; three sons, Mark Anthony Mitchell, Ziny William
Mitchell, both of Rochester, N.Y. and James Jay Mitchell of Bedford; one
stepson, Michael John Parmenter of Rochester, N.Y.; two daughters, Zenith
Carol DeVico of Marietta, Ga. and Cynthia Camile Kester of Rochester, N.Y.;
one stepdaughter, Irene Carol Parmenter of Guerneville, Cal.; one brother,
Bruny Paul Mitchell of Johnson City, N.Y.; two sisters, Helen M. Panko of
Binghamton, N.Y. and Wanda M. Porzucek of Endwell, N.Y.; eight grandchildren;
one great-granddaughter. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11
a.m. Monday, October 4, 1993, at the Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church with
the Rev. James J. Begley officiating. The family will receive friends from 2
to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Carder-Tharp Funeral Home, Bedford.
