OBIT TRIMBLE, DICIE CORNELIA PATTESON

TRIMBLE, Dicie Cornelia Patteson, ("Connie"),86, of Elkton, died Friday, October 1, 1993 at her residence. She was born January 2, 1907 in Bath County, the daughter of the late Charles N. Patteson and Hallie Witt Patteson. She was married to Charles A. Trimble on December 10, 1930. She was a housewife and a member of Eden United Methodist Church. She is survived by four children, Dicie T. Griffin, Hot Springs, Charles T. Trimble, Vinton, Burton Trimble, Milboro, and David Trimble, Elkton; two sisters, Hallie T. All, Covington, Ellen T. Winebriner, Covington; ten grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles A. Trimble. Funeral services will be held Monday, October 4, 1993 at McLaughlin Funeral Home, with Rev. Lawrence Stevens and Rev. David George officiating. Interment will be at the Warm Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mike Trimble, Ricky Trimble, Kevin Trimble, Gary Trimble, Stephen Trimble and Mark Griffin. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Eden United Methodist Church Building Fund.
