BIKE RIDE TO BENEFIT ST. JUDE HOSPITAL

The "Wheels for Life" bikeathon, sponsored by Pulaski First Church of the Brethren to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, will start Oct. 16, 9 a.m., at the Pulaski County High School driving range.

There will be prizes and refreshments.

Registration forms are available at Wal-Mart, Wade's Supermarket, Pulaski Drug, Rose's and Leisure Way Lanes in Pulaski, and at Dublin Pharmacy, Cougar Express, New River Community College and Wade's Supermarket in Dublin.

Founded in 1962 by the late entertainer Danny Thomas, St. Jude treats catastrophic illnesses in children and covers all costs of care that exceed insurance reimbursements.

The hospital, which also has a research unit, has treated more than 70 children from Virginia.

For further information, call Judy Ratcliff at 674-3607 or 980-1341.
