OBIT WILLIAMS, JOHN ALLEN

WILLIAMS, John Allen, 66, of Roanoke, passed away, Friday, October 1, 1993. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lillie Williams. Survivors include his wife, Julia Williams; three sons and two daughters-in-law, James and Sandra Williams, John Williams, Virgil and Edwina Williams; seven daughters, Savannah Burnett, Willie Randolph, Lillie Gray, Barbara Williams, Sandra Ferguson, Linda and Don Willis, Shirley Williams, all of Roanoke; one brother, Robert English, Lynchburg; three sisters, Edith Jackson, Lynchburg, Virginia English, Elizabeth English both from Chester, Pa.; 20 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Marvin and Sally Burris; a devoted cousin, Elizabeth Long all of Roanoke; a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 2 p.m. Hamlar-Curtis Chapel, Rev. Dwight O. Steele Sr. officiating with interment in Williams Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday, 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
