OBIT KING, JASON KEVIN

KING, Jason Kevin, 22, of Shawsville, died Monday, October 4, 1993, as the result of an automobile accident in Christiansburg. He was a student at Radford University and was preceded in death by his father, Versey Milton King, Jr. Surviving are his mother and stepfather, Kathy and Reginald D. Conner, Shawsville; two brothers and sister-in-law, Jeffrey Allen King of Shawsville; Terry and Michelle Conner of Roanoke; one sister and brother-in-law, Amy and David Downing, Shawsville; his grandmothers, Odell Perdue, Shawsville, Lillian King, Salem; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday from Big Spring Baptist Church in Elliston, conducted by the Rev. William Flight, Jr. with burial in East Hill Cemetery, Elliston. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Transport for Christ, 3542 Persimmon Road, Shawsville, Va. 24162. Arrangements are being handled by Richardson-Horne in Christiansburg.
