OBIT TURMAN, RUSH

TURMAN, Rush, 91, of Dugspur, passed away Monday, October 4, 1993, at Waddell Nursing Home in Galax. He is survived by his wife, Vinnie Vaughn Turman, Dugspur; two sisters, Mona Brumfield, Cana Nursing Home, Cana and Tirzah Semones, Laurel Meadows Nursing Home, Laurel Fork; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 6 at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel, Floyd, with the Rev. Norman Goad officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Maberry Funeral Home.
