The new logo was introduced at this week's convention of the Virginia Hospitality and Travel Industry Association.
Among the changes are different typeface and all capitalized letters. Previously, only the "V" of Virginia was capitalized. The heart, which is a part of the logo, will be moved from the end of the slogan to replace the "V" in "LOVERS."
"It is slightly more contemporary," said John Siddall, chairman of Siddall Matus & Coughter, the public relations and advertising agency for the Virginia Division of Tourism. - Associated Press
