FLU VACCINATIONS AVAILABLE IN VALLEY

Flu shots are available in the New River Valley for those wishing to immunize themselves against the disease. Flu shots are recommended for anyone who wishes to reduce his or her chance of contracting the flu, but especially for those over 65 or people with chronic diseases which affect the heart, lungs or kidneys.

It is recommended to receive the shots before the end of October. For more information on immunizations provided in your area, call a local health department:
