OBIT ALLS, ROBERT LUTHER

ALLS, Robert Luther, 81, of Blacksburg, died Tuesday, October 5, 1993, at Montgomery Regional Hospital. Mr. Alls was born April 6, 1912, a son of the late James Alexander Black and Lou Smith Alls. He was a retired farmer. Surviving are his wife, Inez Trimble Alls; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Charlotte A. Ratcliff, Blacksburg, Phyllis and Elmer Gallimore, Salisbury, N.C., Evelyne and Roger Mueller, and Clorene and Robert Brizendine, all of Richmond; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Richard and Kathleen Alls, Salem, Gerald and Elvira Alls, Blacksburg, Wayne Alls, Richmond; one sister, Ethel Taylor, Baltimore, Md.; one brother, Ivory Alls, Christiansburg; 25 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 7, at McCoy Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Mike Synesael officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
