OBIT CUMMINGS, FLORENCE A.

CUMMINGS, Florence A., 89, of Christiansburg, died Tuesday evening, October 5, 1993, in Richfield Nursing Center in Salem. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Cummings and three sons, Sidney Miles, Winston and Wayne Cummings. Surviving are two sons and a daughter-in-law, Otto and Irene Epperly, Jimmy Cummings, all of Christiansburg; a daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Miles, Roanoke; three grandchildren, Francine Helms, Mililani, Hawaii, Kavin Cummings, Abingdon, Va., and Leslie Ciaccia, Damascus, Md.; three great-granddaughters, Lindy and Mary Helms and Lindsey Cummings. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday from the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Carl Ratcliffe with interment in Sunset Cemetery. Friends may call anytime Thursday at the funeral home and the family will receive friends there from 7 to 9 Thursday evening. Arrangements are being handled by Richardson-Horne in Christiansburg.
