OBIT WRIGHT, ROBERT H. JR.
WRIGHT, Robert H. Jr., (" Robby "), 38, of Knoxville, Tenn., formerly of
Radford, died Wednesday morning, October 6, 1993, at University of Tennessee
Hospital as a result of an automobile accident. He was President and General
Manager of East Tennessee WHITEGMC. He was a member of the Knoxville Chamber
of Commerce and Assistant Football coach at Powell Middle School. He is
survived by his wife, Mrs. Debbie Agee Wright; two sons, Matt and Mitch
Wright, Knoxville; his parents, Bob and Gay Wright, Hiwassee, Va.; sister and
brother-in-law, Donna and Guy Gilmore, Radford; mother-in-law, Mrs. Rita Agee,
Radford; sisters and brothers-in-law, Joy and Bill Webb, Pulaski and Sarah and
David Alderman, Frederick, Md.; also surviving are nieces and nephews, Chad
and Laura Gilmore, Patrick and Jessica Webb, and Caty and Joey Alderman. The
funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday from the Morgans Chapel United
Methodist Church in Radford. The body will lie in state from 10 to 11 a.m.
Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. The family will
receive friends Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the DeVilbiss Funeral Home in
Radford. A visiting was held Thursday at Weaver's Cumberland Memorial Chapel
in Knoxville. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the Radford
High School Foundation Inc., Box 2823, Radford, Va. 24141. Arrangements are
being handled by DeVilbiss Funeral Home in Radford.
