HAND-BUILT POTTERY COURSE IN PULASKI

An eight-week course in hand-built pottery will be offered Thursday nights, 6-8 p.m., starting Oct. 14 at the Fine Arts Center on Main Street.

Instructor Kim Polletti will teach a variety of techniques for working with clay, including coil and slab methods.

The course also will briefly explore pottery as sculpture.

All pieces made during the class will be air-dried, fired and glazed.

Supplies are not included but are available.

The fee is $50 for nonmembers and $45 for members. Registration is required. Call 980-7363.
