OBIT LEEK, NORMAN GOSTAGE
LEEK, Norman Gostage, 82, of Culpeper, died Thursday, October 7, 1993, at
Culpeper Memorial Hospital. A native of Middlewich, Shropshire, England, he
was the son of the late Thomas Gostage and Beatrice Eliza James Leek. He was a
former resident of Richmond, where he was employed as a sales agent for the
Life Insurance Company of Virginia. He was a member and former vestryman of
St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Culpeper and a member of the Culpeper Host
Lions Club. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II. He is
survived by his wife, Harriet Moomaw Leek; two nephews, Dudley Lyons, New
York, N.Y., Roger Lyons, Greensboro, N.C. A memorial service will be held on
Monday, October 11 at 11 a.m. at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Culpeper
with interment on Tuesday, October 12 at 11 a.m. in Evergreen Cemetery,
Roanoke. Memorial contributions may be made to the Culpeper County Rescue
Squad, Culpeper, VA.
