OBIT SOMMARDAHL, CHARLOTTE B.

SOMMARDAHL, Charlotte B., 82, of Roanoke, died Friday, October 8, 1993 at her home. She was the widow of Dr. Roy L. Sommardahl and was a former member of the South Roanoke Garden Club and the Roanoke Council of Garden Clubs. Surviving are one daughter, Joanne S. Kusic, at home; four sons, John R. Sommardahl, at home, Roy L. Sommardahl Jr. and wife, Mamie, Roanoke, Robert L. Sommardahl and wife, Carolyn, Roanoke, Don O. Sommardahl and wife, Cheryl, Murfreesboro, Tenn.; five grandchildren, Beau Walker, Amy Kusic, Lindsay Sommardahl, Kari Sommardahl, Byron Sommardahl. Funeral services will be conducted at the grave in Evergreen Burial Park 10:30 a.m. Monday by Pastor Mark Radecke. The family suggest in lieu of flowers memorials be made to the Cave Spring Rescue Squad. Friends may call at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel after 1 p.m. Saturday.
