JIM SHULER OFFERS MATURITY, LEADERSHIP

The citizens of the 12th House District are fortunate to have Jim Shuler as a candidate to replace Joan Munford in the Virginia House of Delegates. Jim brings a wealth of experience and a level of maturity with his candidacy that should appeal to Democrats and Republicans alike.

Those who know Jim count him among their most caring and considerate friends, a person who is willing to listen to all viewpoints and able to reach informed decisions without being intimidated by extreme views from either end of the political spectrum. We can be sure that as our delegate he will represent us and not any special interest group or political action committee.

In these times of confusing budgets, when decisions made in Richmond can have direct impacts on our children's education, our area's economic future, the quality of our health care and even on our personal livelihood, we need someone with maturity and proven leadership serving as our delegate. This is not an election to take lightly. That is why my vote will go to Jim Shuler.\ Jim Marchman\ Blacksburg
