THANKS, PEARISBURG, FOR THE NEW LIBRARY

The advisory board of the Pearisburg Town Library wishes to express our thanks to the town of Pearisburg and the Pearisburg Town Council for their purchase of the former Mormon Church.

Already surrounded by town property, this unique building is the future home of the Pearisburg Town Library. We are looking forward to this move. This building's main floor will meet present needs as well as projected growth for our library.

The library advisory board also wishes to thank those who have contributed to our library expansion fund. Now that our library is to have an adequate home, we feel sure you will want to continue your support.

Renovations to this building will cost much less than other alternatives; however, necessary changes and moving are projected to cost $60,000 more than is in the expansion fund. The Friends of the Library are helping us with fund raising.

Those wishing to make tax-deductible contributions may make checks payable to Friends of the Library Renovation Fund and mail them to Pearisburg Town Library, 112 Tazewell St. This money will go directly to our new library.

We hope to see you in our new library building very soon.\ Tom Miller,\ Chairman\ Pearisburg Town Library advisory board
