AFRICAN VISITORS WILL VISIT, STUDY IN IVANHOE

Visitors from Mali, Africa, will spend five days in the Ivanhoe community from Wednesday through next Sunday.

Their purpose is to learn about the Ivanhoe Civic League and the local culture with a focus on community-based education.

A community dinner for them will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday. Citizens of the community and the surrounding area are invited to attend and bring a covered dish. Further information is available by calling Mike Blackwell or Anita Armbrister at 699-1383 or 699-1434.
