Mr. and Mrs. Alfred R. Thomas, Jr., of Roanoke, proudly announce the engagement of their daughter, Jill NoelleThomas, to Jeffrey Duane Sluss. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Orville Duane Sluss, of Christiansburg. She was graduated from Roanoke College and is employed by WJPR/WVFT Fox 21 Fox 27 TV. He attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and Virginia Tech and is employed by Engineering Design Systems. The wedding will take place on July 9, 1994.
