Patricia M. Foster and Robert S. Stratton were married October 9, 1993, in
St. Johns Episcopal Church with the Rev. Thomas P. O'dell officiating.
Thereception was held at Hanging Rock Golf Club. The maids of honor were
Ms.Andrea Foster, sister of the bride; and Ms. Julie Lindsey, friend. The
bridesmaids were Mrs. Suzie Stevens, Ms. BethGerman, and Mrs. Kelly Kanney,
all friends. The best man was Mr. BillStratton, brother of the groom. The
ushers were Mr. Christopher Foster, brother of the bride; Mr. Todd Stevens,
Mr. Rick Mutzabaugh, both friends; Mr. Leonard Wilson and Mr. Michael Wilson,
bothcousins of the groom. The guestbook was attended by Mrs. Hollie Vinson.
The bride's gown was white tulle with hand crocheted lace and pearls. She
carried a bouquet of white roses and dried flowers. The bride is the daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. William D. Foster of Altavista. She is a graduate of Lynchburg
College and is self employed. The groom is the son of Mrs. Patricia Stratton
of Roanoke, and the late Mr. Robert S. Stratton, Sr. He is agraduate of Cave
Spring High School and Virginia Tech. He is employed byPetroleum Marketers,
Inc. Thenewlyweds will live in Roanoke, after their wedding trip to Seattle,
Washington, and San Francisco, Calif.
