RETIRED PHILIP MORRIS PRESIDENT DIES

W. John Campbell Jr., 65, retired president of Richmond-based Philip Morris Products Inc., died Saturday at his Richmond home from cardiac arrest.

Campbell graduated from Virginia Tech in 1953 with a degree in industrial engineering. On Thursday, he was to be named Virginia Tech's Distinguished Industrial Engineer.

He joined Philip Morris U.S.A. in 1962 in Richmond as senior industrial engineer. - Associated Press
