GRAY, Mary A., 59, of Roanoke, died Saturday, October 9, 1993. Surviving
are her husband, James R. Gray; four daughters, Debora Turner, Katherine
Blankenship, Vickie Baker, Demetria Gray, all of Roanoke; one son, David
Turner, Roanoke; six grandchildren; one brother, George Dyer, Tacoma, Wash.;
four sisters, Florence Dame, Tacoma, Wash., Shirley Pugh, Salem, Ruby
Harrington, Roanoke, Martha Palmer, Collinsville. Also surviving are a number
of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel,
1:30 p.m. Tuesday, with the Rev. Carter L. Sloan officiating. In lieu of
flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the American Lung
Association of Virginia, 6318 Peters Creek Rd. N.W., Suite A-7, Roanoke, Va.
24019. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Oakey's
Roanoke Chapel.
