OBIT MACE, INA MAE

MACE, Ina Mae, 77, of Fairfield, and widow of Robert Dale Mace, died at 7:09 p.m. Sunday, October 10, 1993, at Stonewall Jackson Hospital, Lexington. She was born in Coffeytown (Amherst County), on February 19, 1916, a daughter of the late Hardin Massie Davis and Myrtle (Fitzgerald) Davis Buzzard. Mrs. Mace was retired from the Country Kitchen, Lexington. Also, she was a member of the Spring Valley Baptist Church, Fairfield. Survivors include two sons, the Rev. Phillip D. Mace and Jerry R. Mace; a daughter, Mrs. Blanche M. Tomlin, all of Fairfield; a brother, Bland M. Davis of Corpus Christi, Texas; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p..m. Wednesday, October 13, 1993, in Williams Funeral Service Chapel, Lexington, with the Rev. Luther L. Witt officiating. Interment will follow in Rockbridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends this evening, Tuesday, October 12, 1993, from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home and other times at the residence. Memorial donations may be made to the Fairfield First Aid Crew or the Gideons.
