Tultex Corp., Martinsville fleece-wear maker with plants in Roanoke, Bland and Smyth counties, said Tuesday it has a two-year, $225 million revolving credit line arranged by NationsBank to replace its short-term credit lines to support working capital and future growth. Other participants include Signet Bank, Fleet Bank, Crestar Bank, First National Bank of Maryland, National City Bank, INB National Bank, Bank of Tokyo, Sanwa Bank and Bank Hapoalim.

\ Traffic along the Blue Ridge Parkway rose 6.5 percent in September from year-earlier totals, the scenic highway's offices reported. The number of motorists using the road rose to nearly 2.5 million last month. Of that number, 979,406 traveled the Virginia portion, up 8 percent from 906,483 in September 1992. Also, 1,507,937 travelers rode the North Carolina portion, up 5.6 percent from year-earlier 1,428,090.
