How much money the business group will give the parade is still to be decided.
Jaycees representatives said they just wanted to be assured of Alliance support before seeking donations from industry and other sources.
``No one has been contacted except you folks as of this morning,'' said Jaycee representative Don Breedlove.
The Jaycees have been doing Pulaski`s Christmas parades for 18 years, originally supplying just the manpower and expertise. For the last six or seven years, Breedlove said, the Jaycees have been supplying the funding as well. ``And that's over.''
Pulaski Jaycees President Terri Fitzwater said it would take a little more than $2,500 to produce the ideal parade.
Funding for Pulaski Christmas parades have dwindled over the years from $52,500 to $700, she said, ``and the quality of the parade has gone with it because you get what you pay for.''
