NAVY AIRMAN RECRUIT JOSEPH E. TUCCIARONE, son of Joseph E. and Linda L. Tucciarone of 1921 Stonemill Drive, Salem, recently returned from duty aboard the USS Constellation, which recently underwent a three-year overhaul at the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard. Tucciarone is a 1990 graduate of Salem High School.

\ LT. CHRISTOPHER E. BOLT, son of Jack E. Bolt of Roanoke, received the Navy Commendation Medal for meritorious service while serving with Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron 120 in Norfolk, where he is currently assigned.

Bolt is a 1987 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md.

\ NAVY ENSIGN CRAIG A. EUBANK and MARINE 2ND LT. SCOTT T. PROFITT have been commissioned after completing the Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps program at Virginia Military Institute.

Eubank is the son of Gerald T. and Patricia Eubank of 3009 Glenmont Drive and a 1989 graduate of Roswell High School in New Mexico.

Profitt, son of Nancy L. and James W. Profitt Jr. of 2007 June Drive, is a 1988 graduate of Northside High School and a 1993 graduate of VMI, where he earned a bachelor of science degree.

\ PETTY OFFICER FIRST CLASS ROGER K. MARLUM, whose wife, Mellissa, is the daughter of Wanda P. May of Roanoke, has been assigned to the USS Monterey, which is based in Mayport, Fla.

\ DARYL W. SONGER, son of James H. and Sharon M. Songer of Catawba, has completed basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. Songer is a 1989 graduate of Lord Botetourt High School.

\ MARINE PFC. JOSHUA K. KIKER, son of Monika Milona of 2621 Richards Ave. and Carl K. Kiker of 10 Upland Drive, Salem, recently completed recruit training and was meritoriously promoted to his present rank.

Kiker is a 1992 graduate of Patrick Henry High School.

\ NAVY PETTY OFFICER 3RD CLASS BENJAMIN A. RAY, son of Ronald K. and Georgia K. Ray of 4944 Keffer Road, Catawba, recently returned from a six-month Mediterranean and Red Sea deployment aboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt, based in Norfolk. He graduated from Northside High School in 1991.

\ NAVY PETTY OFFICER 3RD CLASS JEFFREY L. DUNCAN, son of Wanda E. Duncan of 2327 Shull Road N.E. and Donald L. Duncan of 5314 Palm Valley Road, recently returned from a six-month Mediterranean Sea deployment aboard the USS Saipan. Duncan is a 1989 graduate of William Fleming High School.

\ NAVY AIRMAN REGINALD L. PRICE, son of Ralph L. Price of 4611 Biltmore Ave. and Shirley S. Barbour of 2722 Mountainaire Ave. N.W., recently returned from a six-month Mediterranean and Red Sea deployment aboard the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt. Price is a 1986 graduate of William Fleming High School.

\ NAVY AIRMAN CHRISTIAN E. BURNETT, son of Keith C. and Lou A. Burnett of 85 Summitt Way, recently returned from a six-month Mediterranean and Red Sea deployment aboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt.
