FALL BOWLING LEAGUE PLANNED

Leisure Directions, Inc., a United Way partner agency, Christiansburg Parks and Recreation, Area Nine Special Olympics and Triangle Lanes Bowling Alley, is offering a fall bowling league. Each team will be made up of two people with retardation and two people from the community. Bowling begins Oct. 23 and ends Dec. 11.

The cost is $2.50 per bowler each session. Limited transportation is available. The first meeting on Oct. 23 will begin at 9 a.m. at Triangle Lanes Bowling Alley on U.S. 460 and includes details about the league, including team information.
