WORKSHOP PLANNED FOR ENTREPRENEURS

The Montgomery Regional Economic Development Commission is co-sponsoring a workshop for prospective business owners Wednesday 9 a.m.-4 p.m., in the community meeting room of New River Valley Mall.

The workshop will provide information to those thinking aboutstarting their own business as well as to small-business owners who want to update their skills and knowledge.

The subjects to be covered include organization and planning; business financial records; sources of financing; business regulations; taxes and insurance; target marketing; and advertising and promotion.
