BAROQUE DANCES SUBJECT OF PROGRAM

Musicians, dancers, actors and educators will have a chance to learn dances from the Baroque period when Chrystelle Trump Bond and the Choregraphie Antique visit Virginia Tech Monday and Tuesday.

The program will include a lecture and demonstration, a Baroque dance class offered by company members, and a performance by the ensemble.

Monday's program will start at 7 p.m. in the recital salon of Squires Student Center. On Tuesday, dancers will teach Baroque steps and the musical suite, 11 a.m.-noon, in the instrumental rehearsal room in Squires. At 2 p.m. in the recital salon, Bond and the Choregraphie Antique will perform several Baroque dances.
