CSX Corp., Richmond-based transportation and real estate company with operations in Western Virginia, Wednesday declared a 16 percent increase in the regular quarterly dividend on its common stock, to 44 cents per share per quarter, or $1.76 per year. The new rate will be paid with the dividend on Dec. 15 to shareholders on Nov. 25.

\ Realty Services Inc. has opened an office at Smith Mountain Lake for real estate, appraisals, auctions and property management. Dick Davis, Ray Rex and Becky Gibson have joined President H. Wayne Yeatts in the operation.
