OBIT SHELOR, KATHERINE ANDERSON
SHELOR, Katherine Anderson, 69, of Dublin, passed away Tuesday, October 12,
1993, at Radford Community Hospital. She was a member of Central United
Methodist Church. She was the daughter of the late John Clifford and Winnie
Whitlock Anderson, originally from Floyd. She was preceded in death by her
husband, Rufus Harold Shelor. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law,
William Garrett and Annette Shelor of Dublin; two daughters, Mrs. Marshall
(Mary) Harless of Dublin, Mrs. Paul (Rebecca) Cunningham of Martinsville; one
brother, Walter Anderson of Florida; five sisters, Mrs. Blanche Workman of
Moneta, Mrs. Margie Boshchert of Linthicum Heights, Md., Mrs. Ruth Cruce and
Mrs. Merlene Page, both of Christiansburg, Mrs. James Shelburne of Richmond;
three grandchildren and wife, Michael Lee and Jenny Shelor, Terri Michele
Shelor and Patricia Gail Cunningham; two stepgrandchildren, Marshall Harless
Jr. and Marvin Lee Harless; two great-grandchildren, Nichole Marie and Michael
Lee Shelor II. Funeral services will he held Friday, October 15, 1993 at 11
a.m. at the Seaver-Sanders & Mullins Funeral Home in Radford, with the Rev.
Joe Green officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at
Dublin. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the
Seaver-Sanders & Mullins Funeral Home in Radford.
