OBIT BALDWIN, RAYMOND LEWIS
BALDWIN, Raymond Lewis, 81, of Roanoke, died Wednesday, October 13, 1993,
in a local hospital. Mr. Baldwin was a lifetime member of Belmont Baptist
Church; a fifty year life member of Melrose Masonic Lodge #139 AF & AM. He was
a former employee of American Viscose Corp and the City of Roanoke Traffic and
Communications Dept. Surviving is his wife, Theresa H. Baldwin; son and
daughter-in-law, Homer and Jane Baldwin; grandsons, Matthew D. Baldwin and
James P. Baldwin; their mother; Vicki Baldwin all of Roanoke; brothers, Wilson
C. Baldwin, Nelson B. Baldwin, Morris W. Baldwin all of Roanoke; Randolph
Baldwin, Nashville, Tenn.; sister, Della Brady, North Palm Beach, Fla.; and
many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's
Roanoke Chapel 10:30 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Wayne Harrison and Rev. Ben
C. Rogers officiating. Interment will follow in Fair View Cemetery. Masonic
rites will be by Melrose Lodge #139 AF & AM. The family will receive friends
at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.
