OBIT PETTY, MAMIE OTELIA

PETTY, Mamie Otelia, 68, of Roanoke, passed away Wednesday, October 13, 1993. Survivors include her husband, Othello D. Petty; three sons, Ernest D. (Millie) Petty, Nashville, Tenn., Charles "Chuck" (Joyce) Petty, Tyrone L. Petty, both of Roanoke; one daughter, Brenda Petty Campbell, Roanoke; two sisters, Sarah Bratton and Alma McGhee, both of Roanoke; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday at Loudon Avenue Christian Church with the Rev. William L. Lee officiating. Interment will be in Williams Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 8 p.m. at Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home.
