Sherry Dianne Zimmerman and James Cody Dyer were married August 7, 1993, in Northview United Methodist Church with Rev. Carl Savage officiating. The reception was held in the Green Drawing Room Hollins College.

The matron of honor was Carol Z. Palmer, sister of bride. Bridesmaids were Samantha Lentz Hill and Cheri Bradshaw, friends of bride. The best man wasGregory R. Dyer, brother of groom.Ushers were David Harris and Stephen Lentz, friends of groom, Darin Craig, step-brother of groom, and HunterWimmer, step-brother of bride. The bride is the daughter of Sherman and Sara Zimmerman, Fincastle, Va., and Linda and Ron Medley, Lenox, Mo. She is a graduate of Lord Botetourt High School and will graduate from Hollins College in May. The groom is the son of Trisha and Dallas Craig, Troutville, Va., and George (Buddy) and Faith Dyer, Moneta, Va. He is a graduate of Lord Botetourt High School and Ferrum College. He is employed by Hyper-Gen, Inc. of Colorado.

The newlyweds will live in Englewood, Colorado.
