KERNS-ETTER

On Saturday, August 28, 1993, Robin Manning Etter and William Kevin Kerns were united in marriage, at VintonBaptist Church, by the Rev. Dr. William Ross. Family and friends were seated to the music of Kenny G. Robin's daughter, Lendsay, and Dawn, Bill's daughter,walked down the isle to "I Cross My Heart" by George Strait. Robin wasescorted by her son, Patrick. Bill's son, Jeff, served as best man. The ushers were Chris Wilburn, brother-in-law of Robin, and Rodney Shell, friend of the family. As she walked down the aisle, Robin presented Bill's mother, Dorothy, with a token of her love. Bill placed a single rose in three seats for Robin's parents, the late Betty and Irvin Manning, and his father, the late William Kerns. Sherlene Bowles, a friend of both the bride and groom sang "Today I Dedicate My Love For You". Ann Benois directed the wedding and Irv Benoisvideoed the celebration. A reception was held at Mr. Pleasant Park. Music was provided by Roger Rutledge and friends. A good time was had by all and continued after Robin and Bill left for a trip to Gatlinburg, Tenn. and Myrtle Beach, S.C. on his Honda Goldwing. They are residing in Vinton.
