The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Privett of Roanoke and the granddaughter of Mrs. Mary Stover of Fairfax, Va., and Mrs. Hattie Privett of Matheny, W. Va. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Lang of Boones Mill.
Escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a gown of white satin, featuring a V neckline and a heart cut out back. The long formal sleeves were appliqued with beaded lace. The fitted bodice was heavily embellished with schiffli lace, encrusted with cascading pearls and iridescent sequins.
The cathedral length train of cut out appliques of schiffli lace and iridescent sequins was attached. She carried a silk, cascading bouquet of white and lavender roses accented with white baby's breath and seed pearls created by Pamela Biggs, aunt of the bride.
The honor attendants were Melissa Dunford and Julie Meashey, friends of the bride. The junior attendants were Megan Toney and Stephanie Stover, cousins of the bride. The flower girls were Lindsey Toney and Erica Stover, cousins of the bride.
The best man was Richard Lang, father of the groom. Groomsman was Brian Privett, brother of the bride. Ushers were Andrew, Wesley and Bradley Lang, brothers of the groom.
The rehearsal dinner, hosted by the groom's parents, was held at the China Gate Restaurant on October 15.
After a wedding trip to Cancun, Mexico, the couple will reside in Roanoke, Va.
