VANHOY-COPENHAVER

Sarah Margaret Copenhaver and Dwight David VanHoy were married at a Nuptial Eucharist at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Salem, on Sunday morning, August 8, at the ten o'clock service of worship. The bride's father officiated at the marriage, and the Bishop of Southwestern Virginia gave the benediction. The bride was presented in marriage by her three brothers, Vincent K., Thomas L., and Christopher M. Copenhaver.

The bride's parents are Dr. and Mrs. Robert T. Copenhaver, of Salem, and the groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Robert R. VanHoy, of Mouth of Wilson. The bride's grandmothers are Mrs. Alton B. Kidd, of Salem, and Mrs. Walter C.Carmack, of Bristol. The groom's grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Andrew G. VanHoy, of Marion. The bride is a graduate of Emory and Henry College, and the groom of Gardner-Webb University. He is a master's candidate at Appalachian State University. They are both teachers at Oak Hill Academy, Mouth of Wilson, and will reside at Reeves House Farm, Grayson County.
