Lawhorn won the 100-lap feature of the Miller Genuine Draft 300 at Franklin County Speedway. Lawhorn, the track's points leader, won his sixth race of the season and first since Aug. 14.
Lawhorn qualified well (14.22 seconds) and started on the outside of the front row. Radford's qualifying time of 14.10 seconds was a track record.
Radford led until lap 48, when Lowe Smith, who was out of contention, slowed to enter the pits. As Radford approached Smith in the fourth turn, he moved high to avoid him. Lawhorn, never slowing, saw an opportunity and surged into the lead.
Radford finished second.
