OBIT ENTSMINGER, HAROLD P. SR.
ENTSMINGER, Harold P. Sr., 75, of Buchanan, died Sunday, October 17, 1993.
He was a retired engineer of N&W Railroad, with twenty-eight and a half years
service. He was a member of Mill Creek Baptist Church, also a member of
Melrose Lodge # 139 AF&AM, Scottish Rite Bodies and Kazim Shrine Temple. He
was a former board member of Roanoke-Hollins Stock Yard; a former board member
of the Virginia Angus Association; and was in business in the Roanoke area for
over forty years. Survivors include his wife, Mary B. Entsminger; one daughter
and son-in-law, Raymolene M. and Price Simpson; a son and daughter-in-law,
Harold P. Entsminger Jr. and Janet J. Entsminger; grandchildren and spouses,
Kyle and Mary Lynne (Simpson) Harris, John and Patty (Simpson) Harman, Andy
and Katherine (Entsminger) Meadows, Darrell and Karen (Entsminger) Bowman,
Kristen Anne Entsminger; a great-granddaughter, Kaitlyn Ruth Meadows; a foster
brother, Marvin H. Rettinger; a foster sister and spouse, Lucy and Mike
Basules; special friends, Bob and Lori Hunt. Funeral services will be
conducted from Oakey's North Chapel 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 19, 1993, with
the Rev. Harold E. Cook and the Rev. Marsha Davidson officiating. Burial will
be in Fair View Cemetery in Roanoke. The family will receive friends from 7
until 9 p.m. Monday at Oakey's North Chapel.
