OBIT CARICO, JAMES PARLEY

CARICO, James Parley, 77, of Eden, N.C., formerly of Salem, Va., died Monday, October 18, 1993, at his home. He is survived by his wife, Luella Carico; four sons, James E. Carico, Bent Mountain, Billy Carico, Christiansburg, David Carico, Elliston, Manuel Carico, Roanoke; three daughters, Frances Bryant, Salem, Gerline Potter, Roanoke, Christine McGeorge, Elliston; a stepson, Perry Caviness, Eden, N.C.; a stepdaughter, Carol Mott, Moss Point, Miss.; 26 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 21, 1993, at noon at Lotz Salem Chapel with the Rev. Jackie Payne Jr. officiating. Interment will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. Friends may call at Lotz Salem Chapel after 2 p.m. on Wednesday.
