IN SERVICE

NAVY SEAMAN RECRUIT HAROLD E. CRADDOCK, son of Linwood Craddock of 2309 Yeager Ave., recently completed basic training at recruit training in Great Lakes, Ill.

\ LT. CHRISTOPHER E. BOLT, son of Jack E. Bolt of Roanoke, received the Navy Commendation Medal for meritorious service while serving with Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron 120 in Norfolk, where he is currently assigned.

Bolt is a 1987 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md.

\ NAVY SEAMAN ROY D. DECOSTER, a 1989 graduate of Cave Spring High School, recently completed basic training and received the United Service Organization Award. The award is presented to the recruit who best exemplifies the spirit and intent of the term "shipmate."

\ NAVY ENSIGN CRAIG A. EUBANK and MARINE 2ND LT. SCOTT T. PROFITT have been commissioned after completing the Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps program at Virginia Military Institute.

Eubank is the son of Gerald T. and Patricia Eubank of 3009 Glenmont Drive and a 1989 graduate of Roswell High School in New Mexico.

Profitt, son of Nancy L. and James W. Profitt Jr. of 2007 June Drive, is a 1988 graduate of Northside High School and a 1993 graduate of VMI, where he earned a bachelor of science degree.
