OBIT KELLER, HAL C.
KELLER, Hal C. 73, of Roanoke, died Monday, October 18, l993. He was
preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Wada Wade Keller. Mr. Keller was a
1943 graduate of Washington and Lee University and a veteran of U. S. Marines
and Navy. Mr. and Mrs. Keller were longtime residents of Charlottesville, Va.
Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Pendred Keller and the Honorable
Samuel G. Wilson; two granddaughters, Pendred Keller Wilson and Layne Grayson
Wilson, all of Roanoke; one nephew, Jacob Fulton Rice of Shavertown, Pa.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, October 21, l993, in Sherwood
Memorial Park, Salem, Va. Dr. Jerry O. Campbell will officiate. Friends may
call at Oakey's South Chapel after 4 p.m. Wednesday, October 20, l993, where
the family will be from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be
made to The American Cancer Society. Many thanks to the wonderful nursing
staff of the Virginia Veterans Care Center for their loving care and support.
