OBIT BELCHER, JOSEPH RANDALL
BELCHER, Joseph Randall, (Joe), 72, of Floyd, passed away Tuesday, October
19, 1993. He was a veteran of World War II and a retired equipment operator
for the Virginia Department of Highways. He was preceded in death by his first
wife, Faye Pratt Belcher. Survivors include his wife, Dreama Wade Belcher,
Floyd; a daughter, Hope Moore, Meadows of Dan; a son-in-law, Coy Moore, Floyd;
two grandsons, Damon Moore and wife, Sussanna, Willis, Sheldon Moore, Floyd;
granddaughter, Regina Moore, Floyd; four brothers, Edgar Belcher, Meadows of
Dan, Arlie Belcher, Walter Belcher, Waitman Belcher, all of Floyd; three
sisters, Myrtle Belcher Patrick Springs, Clayton Creedle, Blue Ridge, Ruth
Dillon, Vinton. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at the Maberry Funeral
Home Chapel with Rev. Bryan Childress and Eld. J. M. Vipperman officiating.
Burial will be in the Pratt Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7
to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Maberry Funeral Home.
